Moringa, just like matcha can be added to any of your savory or sweet dishes. What makes moringa unique is that it is caffeine-free and has impressive health benefits.

I am creative with the ancestral African plants because I want to have fun while reaping all their health properties. Try this recipe and you’ll feel good about yourself for adding some goodness to your diet.

Ingredients for 2:

  • 140g of flour
  • 1 tsp of moringa
  • 2 eggs
  • 20g of butter
  • 360 ml of milk
  • 1 tbsp of agave syrup
  • 1/2 tsp of salt

Preparation:

  1. In a bowl add the flour, the moringa and the salt. Mix everything together
  2. Add the eggs, the milk and the agave syrup. Ensure the crepes batter is watery as you want thin crepes
  3. Pour the batter on a heated and butter-greased pancake pan (or any non-sticky pan) and cook it until the side of the crepe is ready to be flipped over. Repeat until the batter is finished
